CutReady is a dedicated cut list planner for straight lengths of timber, tube and other bar stock. Enter finished lengths and quantities, stock length, saw kerf and end trim. Get a visual plan for each bar, mark completed pieces, and share a PDF.

Free to download. A one-time lifetime in-app purchase is required after onboarding and before using the tools. No subscription. Your App Store shows the price in your local currency.

Getting started

1. Use one material, cross-section and stock length per project.
2. Enter measured stock length, actual saw kerf and allowance at each end.
3. Enter finished lengths and quantities, or import a list. Review photo recognition carefully.
4. Calculate, verify the plan against your equipment and stock, then track each piece as you cut.

Up to 20 input rows and 100 finished pieces per project. Stock availability is assumed unlimited. CutReady minimizes bar count within its search budget; a plan is labelled as a proven minimum only when that has been established. It does not handle sheet nesting, angled cuts, structural design, or mixed stock sizes.

Kerf and trim

Trim is subtracted at both ends and includes end-trimming cuts. A full kerf separates adjacent pieces. A piece ending exactly at the usable stock end requires no extra final cut. A remaining tail smaller than the kerf is consumed. If your equipment requires additional end clearance, include it in trim.

Purchases and support

To recover a lifetime purchase, use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account that made the purchase. Calculation, saved projects and photo text recognition work on the device. An internet connection is needed for initial purchase and purchase restoration.
